The Texas care notebook

A little preparation

Bring your story in your own words.

A note can hold what you want to say when the visit feels rushed. Start with what brought you here and the question you most want answered.

Get clear

Begin with what matters to you

Write what you hope will change and what is troubling you now. Add what you have already tried and what you want to understand about peptide care.

If an online offer prompted the visit, save its exact wording. Ask the clinician to explain that offer rather than trying to translate it yourself.

Look closer

Bring the details you want discussed

Note the medicines and supplements you use and any past reactions you want to mention. Bring available care records or ask how to share them.

Include any pregnancy, breastfeeding or pregnancy-planning question you want the clinician to address. Leave room for the clinician's explanation, rather than filling the space with guesses.

Keep asking

Ask how the next step fits your day

Discuss the care setting, travel, follow-up and the cost you can manage. Ask what the plan would involve beyond the first visit.

Ask how to share the outcome with your regular doctor if you have one. Keep a place to note who will handle each next step.

Carry it forward

Write down what was actually agreed

Record the medicine name if one was proposed, the reason for it and what is still being checked. Ask for any written visit summary the service offers.

Before closing the conversation, read your understanding back to the clinician. Ask them to correct any part that does not match the plan.
